This year’s Independence Day celebration goes beyond typical patriotic festivities. Palm Springs continues its All-American traditions with the Swim Center hosting a festive pool party, followed by a classic baseball game played by Power Baseball, with the City’s extravagant fireworks as a finale. There will also be the exciting opportunity to party at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Rooftop Rock Show or have philanthropic fun at the historic O’Donnell House. Commemorating our stars and stripes will be like no other in Palm Springs.
4th of July Celebration & Fireworks Over the Pool
Nothing beats a firework show after some pool time and America’s Pastime!
From 2 PM until the fireworks end, check out the Palm Springs Swim Center for some family-friendly entertainment including games, music, and even an inflatable slide. Tickets for children 4-12 years of age are $2 and for adults it’s $6, unless adult tickets are pre-purchased for $5 at the Leisure Center.
Hungry for peanuts and cracker jacks? After the pool party, be sure to head over to the Palm Springs Baseball Stadium for the Palm Springs Power Baseball Game at 6:05 PM. After 8 PM, the gates to the stadium will open for FREE admission to the fireworks show, which will start at 9:15 PM. All are welcome and encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks.
IndepenDANCE Day Party!
They’re not only putting the dance in indepenDANCE, but they’re also putting the fun in FUNdraising! Benefitting the AIDS Assistance Program, the historic O’Donnel House invites everyone to join AAP-Food Samaritans in their 4th of July celebration starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $150 per person and includes open bar, a classic barbeque with burgers and grilled chicken, valet parking, DANCING to DJ Baz, and more! This exciting event will lead up to the City of Palm Springs fireworks exhibition starting around 9:15 PM. Space is limited to the venue, so purchase tickets now using the link below:

Hard Rock Hotel Palm Springs Inaugural 4th of July Rooftop Rock Show
Kick off the holiday with a cool jams, awesome views, and free fun!
The Hard Rock Hotel is planning a poolside celebration from 10 AM to 6PM. After making a splash, check out the drink specials, games, barbeque, and more before the Rooftop Rock Show starts at 6 PM and ends at 9 PM. Admission is free and all ages are welcome to listen to the live music from guests including DJ Bigster, PAPARAZZI, YIP YOPS, DϞTension, and The BroQuitos. To conclude the rockin’ pool party concert, watch the city’s fireworks with a fantastic view from the Hard Rock Hotel’s rooftop terrace!

Well how about this: because of the area topography and our low to the ground architecture, if you just look from your back yard (if so positioned) or from a slight elevation (easy to do here) you will see them rising in the sky as the salutes arrive at your ears just after they hit their zenith.
